Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Chattanooga, TN, for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on providing essential speech and language services to support students' communication development and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Administer speech and language evaluations and assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Document student data and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards Provide ongoing consultation and training to staff as needed to support communication goals Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality service delivery Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse student populations Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
