Job Description
READS Collaborative is seeking a full time speech and language pathologist to join our dynamic team. The position would primarily include direct and consultative speech services in local school districts as well as conducting assistive technology evaluations and consultations. The following outline of the role and responsibilities is intended to provide a broad overview, but is subject to change according to the needs of the school district, as required by the Superintendent of Schools.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to students
Adapt instructional techniques to the age and skill levels of students.
Maintain thorough student records to document attendance, participation, and progress, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
Use data to write students' progress notes and IEPs for students with IEPs
Prepare lesson plans in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) and the functional abilities or needs of students.
Establish and maintain standards of behavior to create safe, orderly, and effective environments for learning.
