Outpatient Physical Therapist Travel Contract

Join a dedicated therapy and rehab team as an Outpatient Physical Therapist in beautiful Ladysmith, WI. This 13-week travel contract offers the opportunity to work in a supportive outpatient setting where you will help patients regain mobility, improve strength, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 08:00am - 4:30pm

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

• Setting: Outpatient therapy clinic serving a diverse patient population with varying orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical needs

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients of all ages

• Work closely with referring physicians, rehab staff, and patients to ensure optimal care outcomes

• Utilize evidence-based practices to address mobility limitations, pain management, balance issues, and functional movement

• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and preventative care strategies

• Accurately document patient progress and maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin State Physical Therapy License (pending licenses accepted)

• Minimum of 1 year of recent outpatient PT experience

• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Current AHA BLS certification

• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
