School Occupational Therapist Goleta, California

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services in a K-12 school setting located in Goleta, CA. The role is part-time, in person, and designed for the current school year on a contract basis. Ideal candidates will hold a valid California OT license and have experience in home health, healthcare, and school-based occupational therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students, addressing individual needs and promoting functional independence
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, provide interventions, and document progress in compliance with applicable regulations and best practices
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance service delivery

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license
• Experience in home health, healthcare, and school settings, preferably with children and adolescents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
