A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for the current school year to support PreK and elementary students at a single site located near Brighton and Lipscomb, AL. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services in an elementary school setting from the beginning to the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for PreK and elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise
- Provide direct therapy services within a school environment
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school or healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Skilled in supporting speech and language development in early childhood and elementary populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
