Two Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available for the upcoming school year at a middle school location in Prairieville, LA. These contract roles involve providing comprehensive speech and language services to students primarily in middle school (grades 6-8), with caseloads spanning from early childhood (3-year-olds) through 8th grade. The positions require full-time availability, with 37.5 hours per week, and include working with diverse student needs such as speech and language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), health impairments, and severe to profound challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and deliver individualized therapy to students across a wide range of speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school policies.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Engage proactively with families to support student progress and provide relevant resources.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Experience working with school-aged populations in a variety of settings.
• Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders, including ASD and severe/profound impairments.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
