Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients unique needs and establish tailored therapy strategies that support their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to ensure holistic care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate both patients and their caregivers on therapy practices to facilitate ongoing progress at home.
• Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and adapt plans to ensure patients remain on their recovery trajectory.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouragement for continuing education and advanced certifications.

Certifications Required

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• Mandatory NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
