Description

• Assess patients from diverse demographics, employing standardized testing and observations.

• Deliver personalized speech therapy that targets communication skills, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical, occupational, and medical therapists, nurses, caregivers, and family members to execute effective care plans.
• Provide vital education to patients and their families to aid in ongoing improvement beyond clinical settings.
• Facilitate inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as required, ensuring seamless care continuity.
• Keep meticulous records that align with professional standards and regulations.
• Commit to continual professional growth by engaging in further education and teamwork.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• License as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within the first month of employment.
