Your Role Awaits You

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations employing standardized assessments and keen observational skills.
• Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to meet short-term targets and long-standing communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Facilitate one-on-one speech therapy sessions that prioritize fluency, communication, language skills, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish unified care pathways.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families to encourage progress between therapy sessions.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain prompt and precise documentation in accordance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaboration with peers.

Your Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications Needed

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly desirable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is expected within 30 days of hire.
