Speech-Language Pathologist in Kingston, PA

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech-language therapy services in an elementary school setting within Kingston, PA. The role is full-time (35 hours per week) and onsite, with a contract spanning the school year. You will work closely with students aged 2 to 22 years old, including those with moderate to severe disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver individualized speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding issues, and challenges in receptive and expressive language development. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments to inform treatment planning. Produce clear, comprehensive reports based on student assessments and observations. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives aligned with student needs. Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student development and progress. Provide therapy to students across a broad age range, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to various communication needs. Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Current Pennsylvania teacher's certificate. Experience working with children and young adults with a range of disabilities, particularly moderate to severe. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Comfortable with onsite school-based therapy delivery.
