Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive speech therapy services for elementary students in an onsite school setting in Hazleton, PA. This contract position offers a 35-hour workweek for the upcoming school year, delivering vital support to students ranging from early childhood to young adulthood. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement individualized speech-language therapy addressing articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, augmentative and assistive communication, social language skills, and delays in receptive and expressive language development. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify student needs. Prepare detailed, clear, and insightful reports based on student assessments and observations. Work effectively with students aged 2 to 22 years, including those with moderate to severe disabilities. Develop, update, and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives for each student. Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and support staff to communicate student progress and address areas requiring intervention. Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Pennsylvania teaching certificate. Experience working with a diverse student population including those with moderate to severe disabilities. Strong skills in assessment, diagnostics, and therapy planning. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Location: Onsite position based in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
