Applications are invited for a part-time 2-semester work-study student who is currently enrolled at UNM during the academic semesters fall 2025 and spring 2026 to work with the Division of Physical Therapy in their pro bono REACH Clinic. The REACH clinic is for community members who are unable to access Physical Therapy due to the costs.

This position requires a student who is Spanish-language proficient at least at conversational level, collaborative, and experienced with technological platforms including Excel, Google Drive, Google Voice, and OneDrive.

Work-study responsibilities include:

• Calling or texting to schedule REACH lab participants, including those who are Spanish-speaking only
• Making reminder calls for REACH lab participants, including those who are Spanish-speaking only
• Ensuring that REACH lab participants have confirmed their appointments
• Filling in last-minute cancellations at REACH lab
• Creating schedules for REACH lab clinicians
• Creating and organizing electronic and paper files for REACH lab participants
• Gathering and organizing administrative supplies for REACH lab
• Attending REACH lab as front desk personnel to greet participants and facilitate paperwork, including those who are Spanish-speaking only
  • Thursday evenings from 2:30 7:30PM, October through April

Hours per week: may vary and will typically range from 6 hours/week to 8 hours/week

Starting Date: September 15, 2025

End Date: May 8, 2026

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Preferred Qualifications

• University Student enrolled Fall 2025 semester and expects to be enrolled in Spring 2026 student
• Spanish Speaker
• Able to work 2:30 7:30 pm Thursday nights
• Work-study eligible
