Starting Compensation:

Mental Health Therapist I: $56,040.97 - $64,134.51 annually based on education and experience.

Mental Health Therapist II: $58,519.71 - $67,287.31 annually based on education and experience.

Role:

Adult Recovery Therapists are licensed mental health therapists who provide assessment of adults for their co-occurring mental health and/or substance needs; identify goals; develop person-centered plans for treatment and case management services; provide individual/group therapies and case management services; and link and coordinate with needed community resources. Therapists utilize evidence-based practices to promote growth and sustained change. Services are provided in both the office and community. Adult Recovery Therapists work under the supervision of the Mental Health Program Director and Program Coordinator.

Job Specific Requirements:

Therapists must have experience treating adults with serious mental health needs and/or substance use needs. Some evening hours may be required. A valid MI driver's license is required.

Qualifications and Experience:

For Therapist II - Master's degree with Michigan licensure, either LMSW, LLP or LPC. For Therapist I - Master's degree with Michigan licensure, either LLMSW, TLLP, LLPC, and the ability to obtain full licensure within 2 years of hire. Promotion to Therapist II upon receipt of full license.

Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor (CAADC) is desirable.
