Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting personalized treatment plans
  • Implement targeted physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, doctors, and rehab specialists, to maximize patient outcomes
  • Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge plans, and at-home exercises
  • Punctually document evaluations, interventions, and progress while adhering to facility policies and regulatory standards
  • Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • Active state license as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred CPR certification
  • Specialized certifications (e.g. neuro or geriatric physical therapy) are beneficial but not mandatory
Skills
  • Prior relevant experience strongly preferred
