Job Description
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional goals
  • Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily activities
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Teach both patients and their families about therapeutic techniques to facilitate progress at home
  • Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Opportunities for continuing education or advanced certifications are highly encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
