Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Renton, WA, and spans the entire school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students, addressing individual needs to support academic and functional success. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). Utilize evidence-based techniques to facilitate students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive behaviors. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as appropriate. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment. Qualifications: Licensed or certified Occupational Therapist with relevant state credentials. Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred. Strong knowledge of educational and therapeutic strategies tailored to children and adolescents. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
