Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions that emphasize communication skills, fluency, voice training, and swallowing rehabilitation.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, medical professionals, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide educational resources and support to patients and families to enhance progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Contribute to occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring ongoing and consistent care for patients.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.

Education

• A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days of employment.
