Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that concentrate on communication, language enhancement, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing rehabilitation.
• Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families, and caregivers to develop integrated care plans.
• Provide education to patients and family members, aiding their path toward achieving progress outside clinical walls.
• Assist in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, promoting seamless continuity of care.
• Ensure meticulous documentation complies with all state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is yet to be attained.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be earned within 30 days of employment.
