Physical Therapist
Bloomfield, NM
Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and treat patients with various physical impairments and disabilities to promote mobility, strength, and functional ability.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and needs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and home safety strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Mexico.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience working with patients with complex orthopedic or neurological conditions.
Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, such as manual therapy and modalities.
Experience with electronic medical records and practice management systems.
