Occupational Therapist School Setting in Saint Paul, MN

A school-based occupational therapist opportunity is available in Saint Paul, MN, serving K-12 students for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting the developmental and functional needs of students within the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy intervention plans to support student learning and participation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom setting
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding supportive strategies for students with occupational therapy needs

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) credential valid in Minnesota
• Experience working with K-12 populations in school-based settings preferred
• Strong understanding of educational goals and special education regulations under IDEA
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
