A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Eastern Houston, TX. This direct hire position offers a full school year commitment, serving either elementary or secondary students with speech and language needs. The role provides a highly flexible work environment, including the opportunity to work from home two days per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a variety of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapies as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience providing speech therapy in a school setting, preferably K-12
- Ability to effectively manage caseload and work with students across various grade levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with students, families, and school staff
- Flexibility to work on-site and remotely as required
