  • Deliver engaging and tailored speech therapy sessions focused on language development, fluency, voice training, and swallowing techniques.
  • Collaborate effectively with a dynamic team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to ensure a seamless approach to patient care.
  • Provide invaluable education and resources to patients and their families, empowering them in their therapeutic journey beyond the clinic walls.
  • Assist with occasional evaluations and interventions within the inpatient setting, ensuring consistent quality of care throughout each patients recovery process.
  • Maintain precise and prompt documentation consistent with all legal and institutional policies.

Education Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Highly preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification should be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
