Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Comprehensive Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, prescribing doctors, and nursing staff to deliver holistic, all-encompassing care.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Train patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to promote continual progress in home settings.
• Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Keep accurate track of clinical developments and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track towards their goals.

Required Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Advancement through continuing education or additional certifications is encouraged and available.

Certifications Needed

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
