- Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state
- Experience working with children in school or pediatric settings (preferred)
- Knowledge of motor development, assistive devices, and accessibility modifications
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and other service providers
- Compassionate, adaptable, and student-focused approach
- Evaluate and assess students gross motor, mobility, and physical functioning needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in the school setting
- Train staff and families on positioning, mobility strategies, and assistive equipment
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
