Pediatric Occupational Therapist Travel or Local | 3 Openings

Amergis Staffing is hiring three Occupational Therapists to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) across four clinic locations in Burien, Kent, Tacoma, and Maple Valley, WA .

This is a full-time opportunity with flexible 13 week contracts , ideal for both local therapists and travel pairs . Join a nonprofit organization known for its commitment to disability advocacy and culturally responsive care.

Position Details

  • Schedule : MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
  • Local Pay : $60/hr
  • Travel Pay : $2,880 weekly gross
  • Referral Bonuses : Offered
  • Openings : 3 (travel pairs encouraged)

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to infants and toddlers in a clinic-based setting
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to support developmental goals
  • Deliver services that reflect each familys lived experience, culture, and language
  • Adjust therapeutic recommendations based on family feedback and evolving needs
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of OT experience
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Must be licensed in WA, hold a compact license, or be eligible for WA licensure

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for performing client evaluations, developing and providing occupational therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each patient.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school or program of Occupational Therapy
  • One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
