Job Responsibilities- Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients individual needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and performance in daily activities.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Engage in teamwork with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and integrated care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy methods to ensure continuity of care and progress at home.
- Evaluate and Record Patient Progress: Monitor patient improvements, document clinical outcomes, and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Encouragement and support for continuing education or additional certifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
- Current certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required
