A school-based position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve two elementary schools during the upcoming school year. This contract role offers a 35-hour workweek in Bellevue, WA, providing an opportunity to contribute to student communication development in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington state license for SLP or SLPA
- Eligibility for Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential for SLPs preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in school or healthcare settings is beneficial
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in two assigned elementary schools
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student communication goals
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
