A professional Physical Therapist is needed to support a K-12 school community in Pasco, WA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with students across a range of ages, helping to improve their physical well-being and support their educational experience within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student mobility and participation.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.
• Provide adaptive physical education support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant school policies and healthcare regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state.
• Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations, preferably in school settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and school personnel.
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently under contract terms.
• Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and educational laws related to IDEA and IEPs is a plus.
