We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our Therapy Department. In this role, you'll work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services, support rehabilitation goals, and partner with residents, families, and fellow healthcare professionals to ensure each individual receives the care they need to thrive. Responsibilities
Adheres to Federal, State, local, and Community First Solution's standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines; and the American Occupational Therapy Association's Code of Ethics while providing quality care and treatment to residents
Provides treatment as directed and acts as an assistant to the Occupational Therapist.
Adheres to OSHA standards and is responsible for the residents' safety at all times while under care and treatment.
Participates in individual residential rehabilitation planning and meetings.
Interacts with residents, family members, staff member, and other healthcare professionals to promote efficient and quality care to the residents.
Adheres to infection control policies, professional therapeutic services, and Community First Solution's policies and procedures at all times while providing care to residents
Adheres to infection control policies, professional therapeutic services, and Community First Solution's policies and procedures at all times while providing care to residents.
Maintains an adequate inventory of adaptive aids for residents.
Performs home assessments with analysis in conjunction with the Occupational Therapist.
Participates in projects, program development, and quality assurance programs as directed.
Adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization and all federal and state laws regarding the privacy of protected health information.
Adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization regarding the use of technology and technology-based information.
Responsible for welcoming and on-boarding new employees.

Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) program.
