School Occupational Therapist Florence, Arizona

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant specializing in school-based and healthcare settings. Serving students from PreK through 12th grade, you will work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This contract position runs as soon as possible through May 21, 2026, and is based in San Tan Valley, AZ 85143.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students across the K-12 grade levels, tailoring interventions to individual needs.
• Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support student development and functional performance.
• Utilize teletherapy and home health modalities as appropriate to enhance therapy delivery.
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Support a team-based approach to address student goals and promote inclusive educational environments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with relevant credentials.
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy including knowledge of K-12 educational settings.
• Proficiency in home health occupational therapy and teletherapy practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage a caseload spanning PreK to 12 students.
