School Occupational Therapist Pasadena, Maryland

A school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Pasadena, MD, serving K-12 students. This contract position spans the complete school year (CSY), offering a rewarding setting to support childrens developmental and functional needs within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions focused on enhancing students participation and success in school activities
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and monitor therapy goals aligned with educational plans
• Provide therapeutic services that address sensory, motor, and cognitive skills to promote independence and academic progress
• Document therapy sessions, update progress notes, and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and reports
• Adapt materials, equipment, and activities to support varied learning needs and physical abilities of students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Maryland
• Experience delivering OT services in a K-12 school setting
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy regulations and educational frameworks
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Commitment to supporting developmental growth and academic achievement in children
