Pediatric School-Based SLP

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A healthcare-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide full-time support at a K-12 school in Coatesville, PA. This contract position covers a maternity leave from January 12 through May 1 and involves managing an elementary caseload of approximately 50-55 students. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:20 AM to 4:00 PM. Key qualifications include: Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC required) Experience in pediatric and school-based settings Completion or enrollment in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Background in healthcare-related speech-language pathology services Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with teachers and other educational staff Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding student progress This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the communication skills and academic success of young learners within a structured school environment.
