OUR FUTURE: PREPARE. LEARN. LEAD. We are currently seeking to hire a highly dedicated long-term substitute speech pathologist. However, the district may have flexibility in considering a part-time schedule. Our Ideal Candidate: Master's degree in communication disorders. Valid Wisconsin License from DPI in Speech and Language Pathology (1820) or ability to obtain license. Passionate and engaging educators. Demonstrates ability to build positive, nurturing relationships with all learners. Ability to maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Collaborative and solution oriented mindsets. Ability to be flexible and adaptable, especially during times of change. Demonstrates good communication skills, including ability to guide and supervise groups of students, maintain confidentiality, and work with students in a positive and motivational manner. Demonstrates proficient office skills with computers and software. Able to interact with others effectively, follow directions and initiate activities independently. Enjoy working with students and other staff members. Assistive/augmentative communication Ability to address various communication and speech disorders across Pre-K and Kindergarten age groups. Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. Bilingual (Spanish) skills and abilities are a plus.
