Elite PT & Sports Medicine is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team! A locally owned outpatient orthopedic clinic with a relaxed atmosphere and state of the art equipment to serve those in need. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients and athletes to help them regain movement and manage pain. You will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for individuals recovering from injuries or dealing with chronic conditions. Duties: - Evaluate patients' medical history, perform evaluations and develop a Plan of Care - Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals - Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Qualifications: - Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist - Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program - New grads with no experience are welcome to apply. 1-3 years experience in orthopaedic physical therapy is preferred - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathology - Proficiency in evaluation, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills: - Orthopaedics: Experience/Desire working with orthopaedic patients is highly preferred. - Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate and effective patient care. - Medical terminology: Strong knowledge of medical to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. - Anatomy knowledge: Understanding of human anatomy to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions. - Manual therapy: Proficiency in manual therapy techniques to relieve pain. - Therapeutic Exercise: Experience in providing therapeutic exercises and HEP. - Physiology knowledge: Understanding of human physiology to guide treatment plans effectively.
