Multiple)Full/Part-time positions availableIn-personReports to: Director of Special EducationJob requirements:Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamStrong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language delays, disorders, and communication needsAbility to manage a caseload, keep detailed records, and report on student progressComfort with adapting strategies and interventions to meet the needs of a diverse range of learnersFlexibility and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced school environmentJob requirements:Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students communication needs & develop appropriate treatment plansIndividualized Therapy: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with identified needsCollaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the development & implementation of individualized strategies for student successIEP Development and Progress Monitoring: Actively participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, & track student progress Behavioral Support: Provide speech and language interventions that support students in both the academic & functional areasProfessional Development: Participate in ongoing training & professional development Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of therapy, assessments, billing, & progress reports Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, & other related service providers to ensure a holistic approach

Job Requirements
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Current State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Maine Department of Education certification for Special Education (if applicable).Education and/or Experience:Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university (required)Maine Certification or eligibility for certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required)Experience working with students in a school setting (preferred)Knowledge of various speech and language disorders, communication strategies, and assistive technologies (preferred)Experience with IEP (Individualized Education Program) development & implementation (preferred)
