Speech Language Pathologist Job Summary: As the Speech Language Pathologist , under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Supervisor in Home Care and Director for In-patient Rehabilitation Services, you will be a vital member of a dynamic team responsible for organizing and administering prescribed speech therapy programs in an effort to reduce and/or prevent disability to help patients achieve their maximum functional potential.

- Evaluates and treats patients as prescribed by referring physician.
- Records treatment, response, progress and discharge information in patients chart.
- Educates patient, family and significant others regarding condition, treatment, home program and Rehabilitation Services.
- Routinely confers with physician and other practitioners in person, by phone, or in writing, regarding progress, regression or change of plan.
- Orients, instructs, and directs other Health Care Team members as needed.
- Master's degree from an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology required.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Connecticut license or Connecticut license eligible required.
- CPR Certification required.
- Minimum of one year experience preferred.
