Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Sharon, MA to hire a Special Education Paraprofessionals to work with students on a contractual basis.

Details of the Position Include:

Location: Sharon, MA

Duration: 2025-2026 School Year

Start Date: September 2025

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:45am-3:15pm

Requirements: Active MA SLP License

Description:

  • Roles and responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist include but are not limited to:

    • Provision of direct services which may include Fluency, Receptive and expressive language, voice and resonance, articulation, Hearing, including the impact on speech and language, Swallowing, Cognitive aspects of communication, Social aspects of communication, and Communication modalities, specifically AAC devices
    • Administer Speech/Language evaluations and develop written evaluation reports for eligibility (to include diagnostic impressions and educationally relevant recommendations)
    • Participation in IEP meetings
    • Development and implementation of IEP goals
    • Progress reporting
    • Case management of Speech only IEP students
    • Consultation to team members and parents
    • Collaborate with other district Speech providers
    • Facilitate Speech only Annual IEP meetings and all related paperwork as appropriate
    • Other duties assigned by the Principal or Director of Student Services as applicable

Pay Rate: Up to $65/hour

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
