Position Title: Speech and Language Pathologist - District Level Leadership
Reports to: Superintendent and Special Education Director
Work Schedule: Full-time, 4-day school week, 180-day calendar
Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience
Central Linn School District is seeking a dynamic and innovative Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to lead and enhance our district-wide communication services. This unique position combines direct student support with strategic program development, professional development, and collaboration across schools.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and implement inclusive speech and language programs using both pull-out and push-in models to support diverse student needs.
- Professional Development: Provide training and resources to teachers and staff, enhancing their ability to address speech and language challenges in the classroom.
- Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress in alignment with academic goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with administrators, special education teams, and families to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery.
- Leadership: Guide and support staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Oregon licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in school-based settings, with a strong understanding of special education laws and IEP processes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective speech and language programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for professional development and team collaboration.
