Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist - Detroit, MI School Districts

Assignment Overview
This full-time remote position provides 37.5 hours weekly of specialized speech-language services to students in grades K-8. Your mixed caseload of 45-55 students will include individuals with diverse communication needs requiring creative virtual intervention approaches.

Virtual Therapy Excellence
Deliver high-quality speech and language services using state-of-the-art teletherapy technology that engages students and produces measurable outcomes. Virtual format enables consistent service delivery and innovative therapeutic approaches not always possible in traditional settings.

Clinical Duties
- Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations and screenings
- Design individualized therapy programs using virtual-appropriate materials
- Provide direct therapy services via interactive online platform
- Collaborate with IEP teams and general education teachers
- Offer family education and support strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Participate in continuing education and professional development

Certification Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification in good standing
- Current Michigan speech-language pathology license
- Minimum 2 years school-based clinical experience
- Virtual therapy delivery experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with educational technology and online platforms
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Student Engagement
Expertise in maintaining student attention and motivation through virtual delivery, utilizing interactive software, engaging activities, and positive reinforcement strategies appropriate for online learning environments.

Team Collaboration
