Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience with teletherapy practices
- Proficient in the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
- Strong background in working with nonverbal students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- New graduates with clinical fellowships (CFY) are encouraged to apply
Location:
- Owego, NY, with additional days in Dryden, NY
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes
- Deliver services in both in-person and potentially through teletherapy platforms
