Position OverviewWe seek a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual therapy services to students across various grade levels. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 45-55 students, delivering individualized speech and language interventions through our state-of-the-art virtual platform. The role encompasses 36 hours per week, providing comprehensive services to students ranging from elementary through high school levels.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments using virtual evaluation tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals and objectives
- Provide direct therapy services through engaging virtual sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to educational planning
- Adapt traditional therapy techniques for effective virtual delivery
- Monitor and adjust intervention strategies based on student response and progress data
Your caseload will include students presenting with various communication challenges including articulation disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, and voice concerns. Students represent diverse backgrounds and learning needs, requiring individualized approaches to intervention. The virtual format allows for creative therapy delivery while maintaining evidence-based practices essential for student success.
Required Qualifications- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Kentucky state licensure for Speech Language Pathology
- Minimum two years of school-based experience required
- Experience with virtual therapy platforms preferred but not required
- Strong technology skills including video conferencing and digital therapy materials
- Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration with students, families, and teams
