This remote Speech Language Pathologist position involves providing comprehensive therapy services to a caseload of 41-51 students across elementary and secondary grade levels. Working 37.5 hours per week, you'll deliver evidence-based interventions through our sophisticated virtual platform, addressing diverse communication disorders and developmental needs. The position emphasizes collaborative practice, data-driven decision making, and creative adaptation of therapeutic approaches for virtual environments.
Core Job Functions- Perform thorough speech and language evaluations utilizing virtual assessment tools and protocols
- Design individualized treatment plans targeting specific communication goals and IEP objectives
- Deliver interactive therapy sessions through engaging virtual platforms with multimedia resources
- Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, parents, and support personnel
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress, session data, and outcome measures
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional input to educational planning and goal development
- Provide consultation services to educational staff on communication strategies and environmental supports
- Participate in ongoing professional development focused on virtual service delivery excellence
Students present with various communication disorders including phonological processes, language delays, fluency disorders, and social communication challenges. The population includes students with autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and other conditions affecting communication development. Virtual service delivery enables flexible scheduling and innovative intervention approaches tailored to individual student needs.
Necessary Qualifications- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from ASHA-accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Active Nevada state licensure for Speech Language Pathology practice
- Two or more years of experience providing speech therapy services in educational settings
- Proficiency with virtual therapy technologies and digital communication platforms
- Excellent organizational skills for managing virtual caseloads and electronic documentation systems
- Strong interpersonal abilities for building therapeutic relationships through virtual interactions
