An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to support students in a middle school setting. This contract position is based in Laurens, SC, and involves working closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 45 to 50 elementary through middle school students. The role demands a dedicated professional who is passionate about enhancing the communication skills of children and providing them with the necessary support to thrive academically.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Location: Laurens, SC (Onsite at a Middle School)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation of services provided
