Position Overview
Were seeking a passionate and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a 32-hour/week school-based role in West Point, Mississippi , beginning in August 2025 . Youll support PreKelementary students across four nearby school locations, helping them overcome mobility challenges and thrive in the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative educational team while making a meaningful impact all school year.

Contract Details

• Schedule: MondayFriday during regular school hours

• Duration: August 2025 May 2026 (10-month contract)

• Setting: Four schools within the West Point district

• Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Your Role Will Include:

• Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify physical therapy needs

• Creating and delivering customized therapy plans based on IEPs

• Providing direct physical therapy services on-site

• Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and school staff

• Monitoring and documenting student progress in line with district standards

• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to team planning

What Were Looking For:

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Active Mississippi PT license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Previous experience in schools or pediatrics preferred

• Confidence in working across multiple campuses

• Excellent communication and time management skills
