Pediatric Speech Therapist in Gastonia, NC

In Gastonia, NC, a dedicated team is seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, addressing the diverse needs of approximately 8 schools within the district.

Qualifications:

• Current NC Speech-Language Pathologist License
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in school settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Location: Gastonia, NC

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement appropriate IEPs tailored to individual students.
• Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
