If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a Hospital setting this Fairfax, MO position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

* Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists

* Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility

* Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist

* Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures

* Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress

* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care

* Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed

Qualifications:

* Completion of accredited PTA program

* Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)

* MO PTA licensure/certification

* First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
