Position Highlights

Full-time remote role offering 37.5 weekly hours, specializing in grades K-5 with a mixed caseload of 45-60 students. This position emphasizes early intervention and foundational communication skill development through engaging virtual therapy sessions designed specifically for younger learners.

Therapy Focus Areas

Provide comprehensive services addressing articulation disorders, phonological processes, expressive and receptive language delays, pragmatic language skills, and early literacy support. Virtual therapy format proves particularly effective for elementary students who respond well to interactive games and digital therapeutic activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and screenings

- Design developmentally appropriate virtual therapy activities

- Implement evidence-based intervention strategies

- Track student progress using data-driven measurement tools

- Collaborate with classroom teachers on curriculum integration

- Educate parents on home practice strategies

- Participate in child study team meetings and IEP conferences

Required Credentials

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

- Current Kentucky speech-language pathology license

- Minimum 2 years pediatric/school experience

- Virtual therapy experience strongly preferred

- Knowledge of early childhood development

- Excellent technology troubleshooting abilities
