Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs. Provides education regarding prevention and treatment of injury and disease to patients and to the community. Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, treatment options and care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Reports to\: Mgr - Rehab Svs

Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. Drag Edit Delete Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family. Drag Edit Delete Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Drag Edit Delete Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services. Drag Edit Delete Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Drag Edit Delete Minimum Work Experience
