Job Summary The Patient Care Coordinator Lead - PSHC supervises and oversees the duties of the Patient Care Coordinators and Front Desk Receptionist to ensure the smooth operation of the Audiology Department. **SOME WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED** Pay Range Minimum $21.98 Midpoint $29.13 Maximum $36.28 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Experience Required: Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC). Preferred: Experience working in Audiology. Education Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: College Level Courses or Certifications in healthcare. Training Required: None required. Specialized Skills Required: Knowledge of medical terminology. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure and deadlines; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently. Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Licensure Required: Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred: Audiology Assistant Certification; NCHAM - National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management (Newborn Hearing Screening) Work Environments - Functional Demand: Sedentary - Very light energy level Lift 10 lbs. box overhead. Lift and carry 15 lbs. Push/pull 20 lbs. cart.
