Document respiratory interventions, outcomes, and plan-of-care revisions. Provide status reports and offer recommendations during patient care rounds. Maintain therapeutic relationships with families, incorporating diverse needs and methods of coping into treatment plans. Adhere to the American Association of Respiratory Care's Clinical Practices Guidelines and CHOP's organizational policies and procedures. Participate in interdisciplinary committees, shared governance initiatives, research activities, and the development of policies and procedures. Incorporate research and quality improvement findings into clinical practice. Identify learning needs; propose and participate in educational activities; and apply new training, skills, and knowledge to daily work.
